//FAULTEC UK | COMPANY PROFILE | 2011 Faultec was established in South Africa in 1989. The company specialises in the design & manufacture of high voltage test equipment, for the power industry. The equipment ranges in application from pinpointing faults in long lengths of buried cables to commissioning equipment for new installations. A few examples are: • Seismic & magnetic tracers • Cable tracers (inductive & conductive) • Surge generators up to 30kv • AC & DC pressure test sets up to 100kv • Secondary and primary injection test sets • Oil dielectric test sets Faultec offers a specialist cable identification and cable fault location service. Since opening in the UK in June 2003, we have assisted many contractors in the private sector, with regards to faults within power supply systems. These range from faults in transformers, switchgear, protection relays, supply cables etc. |
